Web Developer (Part- or Full-time) [Apply Now]

We are a growing e-Learning company with a need of a Web Developer with a general knowledge of Web server development, administration, and Web page design.  The ability to learn, evaluate, and gain proficiency in new Web technologies and products is especially important as we use a variety of tools to support our clients.

Customer service skills are also very important as we provide some technical support for our clients.  This position will also be partially responsible for supporting our internal network environment (less than 10%).

Experience with any of the following skills is a bonus:

• PHP
• SQL and Database Administration (especially MySQL)
• Moodle, Blackboard/Blackboard CE 6 (WebCT) or other Learning Management Systems
• OSCommerce
• FreeBSD Administration
• HTML (with CSS & JavaScript)
• Flash (with ActionScript 2 & 3)

While all of the above are not necessarily a requirement, we do consider the following general skills to be an important part of this position.  If hired, you will be able to grow skills in the following areas:

• Web server scripting
• Web site design
• Database Administration and SQL
• Web page design using Web Standards
• Learning Management System administration
• System Administration
